Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn McKay, born into the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and skills in researching to produce the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title"No Man Knows My History, she used both. This title is derived from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled the congregation with his words"You don't even know me." I never told you about my heart. My history is unknown to anyone. I don't know. The 29-year-old wrote Fawn at the time: Ever since this moment of honesty, more than three writers have taken up the battle. There are some who have tried to make a clinical diagnosis. Documents do not lack however they do have a lot of contradictions. In order to assemble these documentsin order to distinguish first-hand sources from a third-party plagiarism and to then put Mormon and non Mormon narratives together into a reliable mosaic isn't an difficult job. This is exciting as well as instructive. Fawn Brodie's life as a professional was dedicated to this goal. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens became immortalized through her writing and by the results of her studies. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The Southern The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historiography (1974).
