Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. The family is initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she did not study English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. At the age of 16 she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her to be model for professional models.
