Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress writer, producer, and teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother's working. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's top TV Couples in the history of television and was named top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna grew a large online audience on social networks as a direct result of the success of its show.
