Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actress as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's working. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. Anna was able to move to Toronto in Ontario for the purpose of pursuing her acting. Over the years that followed, she eventually moved in Los Angeles. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in 2009. Anna converted to Judaism in January 2011 and then they re-wed in the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured on CNN's list of the top most viewed Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple of 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew due to the popularity of her TV show.
