Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress, writer, director and producer. Her father comes from Britain, while her mother is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother's her job. While still a small kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to pursue her acting talents. She eventually settled down at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009.
