Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor at St. Thomas University). Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at working. She appeared in many commercials as a young child. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She ended up shifting to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism by then, and Seth Cooperman were wed in the month of December in Fredericton. In April of 2011, they renew their vows in the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's love affair with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was included in the list of CNN's Top TV Couples that have ever existed and was named E!'s Top Television Couple for 2013.
