Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, who is an actor as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in the year 2009.
