Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Amy Smart, who was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. The first time she acted was in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. Models aren't regarded as the best actors and so tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy persevered. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her take on more prominent roles. The film was a major commercial success, and Amy had finally found the recognition that she was seeking for more than 10 years. The actress continued to appear in major films, such as Crank alongside Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a regular role.
