Amy Smart has been a model, actress and former American. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling career in Italy. The first time she acted was in the 1996 TV movie Her Costly Affair. Her struggle to land a part for Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was very intense. This was not easy for Amy as she had change from modeling to acting. Models aren't considered great actors, so they usually play smaller, less important roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She made her way to bigger roles. She began with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also had Ryan Reynolds, saw her play more prominent roles. Amy became famous by the industry for her performance in the last decade. Amy was in several big movies in the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in The Shameless series.
